Health assessment process

The chart above summarises the base data in AMT primarily used by maintenance and finance groups:

• Budget (to date and future) – this is the original budget costs adjusted by internal parts and labour escalations (budget projection in AMT).
• Actual costs to date – work order costs imported from the accounting system.
• Projected costs – Projected future costs (current projection in AMT).

For the reporting and analyses in AMT to be meaningful, the above sources of data need to be accurate. It is critical that this data is accurate because it not only impacts the maintenance strategy, it also impacts financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
